How To Create A Timelapse In Premiere

In this practical tip we show you how and with what program you can create time-lapse Videos.

Professional time-lapse with Adobe Premiere Pro to create

You can take your time-lapse Video with the professional video editing create program Adobe Premiere Pro. Download the free trial version of Premiere Pro , download and install it:

Open Premiere and create a new project. In the next window, you can select a preset for your output Clip. We recommend a HDV-to-take setting from the list.
Under the tab "file" find the "Import" button and can record your Videos in the program.
Now drag the desired file into the desired track of the Timeline on the right, below.
Now you need to change the speed of the clip and the actual time lapse to create. To do this, click with the right mouse button on the Clip and select "speed/duration...". Now you can either set the speed to a desired value, or the exact length of the clip specified.
After that, you need to export your finished Clip yet. To do this, select "file" > "Export" and then "media". Alternatively, you can press "CTRL" and "M". On the Mac press "cmd" and "M". In the following window, select "Export". The settings takes Premiere for you. Only the location, you should remember or change it if necessary.

To do this, open your Video file from which you want to create a time lapse.
Under the "playback" tab, you can adjust the playback speed according to your Wishes.
You now return to the beginning of the clip, and select "play" the field "Record". Let the Video play all the way through. You can check whether the set speed is right.
