Afaik articles are submitted by anyone. But it may exist subject to approval.
However wikihow has their own artist team that brand visuals for articles that are visited a lot. They all use the same style (traced shutterstock photos) to proceed a consistent and neutral fashion over all the articles.

I once had to make one for an consignment. And not an example one, I had to literally upload one to the site and my professor would class it by reading it. I BS'd it kind of as information technology was an entry level writing class. Like I myself knew that the wikiHow I wrote was kind of worthless. But I recollect years later I still got an electronic mail from wikiHow proverb that like 500 people have read my wikiHow. Doesn't hateful much, but it was interesting to run across that it still existed.
